WARRANTY

Your home has been enrolled with The Tarion New Home Warranty Program (formerly the Ontario New Home Warranty Program). We will provide you with their Homeowner Information Package. We strongly recommend that you read it. It explains your rights and responsibilities under the program and the procedures that must be followed for warranty service. You can also refer the the Tarion website.


METRIC HOMES SERVICE WORK POLICY

Our Service Work and Warranty policies are as described in the Tarion Homeowner Information Package.

In general terms, the following are the steps that must be followed:

1. We will do a Pre Delivery Inspection (PDI) with you a few days before closing in order to identify all outstanding deficiencies and unfinished works.
2. We ask that you provide us with ONE written Service Request list within 30 days from closing. At that time, the same list is to be sent to Tarion.
3. We ask that you provide us with ONE written Service Request list between the 11th and 12th month of occupancy (any time within the last 30 days before the expiry of year one of your warranty). At that time, the same list is to be sent to Tarion.

We ask that any Service Request items discovered after you provide us with the 30 day Service Request list, be noted and provided to us on the next list as per the schedule above. In emergency situations (described on your page 15 of your Homeowner Information Package) please use the emergency contact numbers provided to you or contact us at the number above.
